The Foot Mechanic is a small Denver practice devoted to custom foot orthotics. We listen, explain what we see, and make support that fits your feet, your shoes, and the way you spend your day.
How we work

We listen first
You tell us what's bothering you, what shoes you live in, and what you want to keep doing. We don't rush that part.

We explain as we go
We show you what we notice about your feet and footwear and explain it in plain language, so you understand the options.

We focus on quality
Each insert is made for one person and checked before it goes home with them. An optional 10–15 minute follow-up fitting and wear discussion is included in the upfront price.

We give honest answers
If custom orthotics aren't the right fit for you, or something is outside what they can help with, we'll say so.
Meet Chan
Chan Mayber, MSPT, is the owner of The Foot Mechanic. He holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and has more than 25 years of experience with orthopedics, lower-extremity biomechanics, and custom foot orthotics.
The Foot Mechanic was founded in Denver in 1999 by physical therapist Brett Purdom. Chan has been part of the business since its founding.
